Just yesterday I got this e-mail from American Express that allows cardholders to earn a C$100 statement credit when they charge C$500 or more at participating Fairmont Hotel and Resorts worldwide. From the list it seems that many of Fairmont’s North American hotel and resorts do participate in this promotion. The terms and conditions do mention a room charge so I doubt one would be able to dine up to C$500 at Fairmont properties and get a C$100 credit.
For Canadian American Express cardholders, there really is no loss in just registering for the promotion as the statement credit will not happen if one is not registered for the promo! To register, simply head to this link, and both principal and supplementary card holders need to register before end of November 4, 2013 to be eligible for the offer.
While I have not stayed in a Fairmont property for a long time, I will see if there is any chance to fit this offer into my end-of-year travelling plans.
